Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
We are seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
About the Role:
As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for the use of computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. You will work closely with patients, preparing them for CT scanning and providing reassurance and support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and position them appropriately for scanning
- Capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image quality
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- State-specific licensing when required
You should also possess a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days. We offer a competitive pay package, including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
