About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team for a travel assignment. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of experience
- Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily
