Travel Assignment: 13 weeks with 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with procedures, and ensuring patient safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment during procedures
- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures
- Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
