Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Victorville, California. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of patient and equipment for procedures, including site of entry preparation, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibration of equipment.
- Quality control of all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab, including knowledge of related equipment within the laboratory.
- Scrubbing in during procedures and assisting physicians with catheter manipulation.
- Recording of hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Requirements:
- Hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI or CCI-RCIS, and meet state-specific requirements for licensure.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
