Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist
">Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and of high quality.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
- Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
- Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in computed tomography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
