We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Englewood, New Jersey.
About the Job
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience in Interventional Radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain radiation protection standards and techniques
- Interpret examination requests accurately
- Operate intravenous pumps and dye injector systems
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
Physical Demands
The ideal candidate must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Skill requirements include knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
