We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont.
Job Summary
Travel Nurse Across America Allied is looking for a highly experienced Radiology Technologist to work on an immediate travel opening. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be certified as an ARRT (R). The selected Rad Tech will be responsible for using diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate images, and preparing patients for radiologic testing.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
- Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by taking appropriate protection precautions
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
What We Offer
Our pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
