The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech).
Key Responsibilities:
- Use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
As a CT Tech, you must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
