Job Description
Travel Nurse Across America Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team for a travel job in Altoona, Pennsylvania. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive image-guided procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
- Operate intravenous pumps and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in acute care settings
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
