**About the Job:** Travel Nurse Across America Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Brandon, Florida. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the field of radiology.
As a CT Tech, your primary responsibilities will include operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure high-quality imaging results.
The ideal candidate should possess ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, as well as state-specific licensing when required. You should also have 1 year of experience in CT scanning and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- BLS certification.
- 1 year of experience in CT scanning.
