Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. You should also be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop easily.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
">
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
">
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
">
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
">
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
">
• Maintain accurate patient records
">
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
">
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
">

Requirements:

• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
">
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
">
• State-specific licensing when required
">
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop easily
">
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
