Travel CT Technologist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Clyde, North Carolina.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Position patients correctly for scanning and use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and follow safety procedures when working with radiation
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- State-specific licensing when required
- BLS certification
This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. The right candidate must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
