Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our travel nursing team. As an ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Provide direct care to patients in life-threatening situations, documenting and providing physician-directed care
- Assess and implement patient care plans, delegating tasks to other care providers as needed
- Provide education and support to patient families, possibly for long-term care needs
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
- Able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally
