Job Summary
We are seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Wellsville, New York. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.
About the Assignment
This is an immediate opening for an ER Travel Nurse to work with a diverse team of caregivers in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating, triaging, and implementing care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care.
- Clean and bandage wounds.
- Provide IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
Requirements
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
- 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good stress coping skills.
