Job Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Progressive Care to join our team of travel nurses. As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are not unstable enough to need ICU care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care
- Stabilize critical cardiac patients
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
- Initiate corrective action when necessary
Requirements:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH certification
- 1.5 years of recent acute care experience
