About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Culbertson, Montana. As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, prioritizing data collection, and performing ongoing assessments and treatments as ordered by a physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care for various patients, including pre- and post-op patients
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Prepare equipment and aid physicians during examinations and treatments
- Educate patients on surgical procedures
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans
