**Job Title:** CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. for a 13-week travel assignment in Avon, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans on patients of all ages, including children, adults, and geriatric populations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, as well as perform routine quality control checks.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Certification or registration in Radiologic Technology from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Current licensure or certification in the state of practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
