About the Role:
- Four ten-hour shifts, no nights or weekends
- Paid call shared equally
- Primarily Outpatient with occasional Inpatient consults
- Services include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, medical oncology, cancer support services, clinical trials
- New 19 chair infusion room, pharmacy in house, nurse navigation, radiation oncology & lab located in the center
- High caliber, collegial, outstanding nurse infusion team
- Functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of an advanced practice provider.
- Currently 1 NP Locum and 2 Oncologists in facility

- Efficiency with software interfaces (EPIC)
PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
- Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
- Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
- Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
- Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair
- Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
- Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
Requirements:
- Board Certified NP or PA - REQUIRED
- AONCP certification (or in process) - REQUIRED FOR NP CANDIDATES
- PA Oncology Subspecialty/Additional Oncology Training - HIGHLY PREFERRED FOR PA CANDIDATES
- Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Does the provider have ties to Oregon - i.e. family in the area or has lived in OR at some point? (Note in "Additional Submission Details") - REQUIRED
- Experience practicing as an Oncology NP/PA in an Inpatient and/or Outpatient setting (Note in "Experience" field) - PREFERRED
