Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Position patients correctly for scans, taking into account their physical limitations and any relevant medical conditions
- Follow established protocols for administering contrast agents, if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, scan results, and any adverse reactions
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) or a related field
- At least 1-2 years of recent experience working in an MRI setting
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and explanations to patients
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn new procedures and technologies
