About the Role:
This is a multi-modality role for CT and x-ray experience, requiring proficiency in performing radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, emergency room, and surgery suite using portable techniques.
Responsibilities include providing procedural-related patient care and education, maintaining records and documentation for procedures, identifying and supporting patient care needs, treating patients with dignity and respect, ensuring confidentiality of patient records, and interacting professionally with patients and families.
Must be able to work independently and maintain a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Graduation from a minimum of 2-year Rad Tech program or equivalent required. State of Kansas certification. Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- One year of radiologic/CT experience preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position.
- Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public.
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
Submission Requirements:
- 1 year of radiologic/CT experience - Required (WOULD CONSIDER NEW GRAD)
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field. - Required
- ARRT - Required
- COVID Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption- Required
- Can start with Kanas license pending. Must provide proof of license application prior once position offered.
