Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri. As a travel respiratory therapist, you will work closely with patients and healthcare teams to provide critical care and support.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy and be willing to adapt to new environments. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and bronchoprovocation testing.
• Analyze test results and make recommendations for further testing or treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Requirements:

• RRT credential from the NBRC.
• 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification.
