The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a fast-paced environment that requires nurses to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. As a PCU/Tele RN, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your expertise in assessing patient needs, prioritizing tasks, and managing complex medical situations will be essential in providing exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Manage complex medical situations, such as cardiovascular instability and respiratory distress.
