About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to the surgical suite, including preparing patients for surgery, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining equipment. They will also be required to communicate effectively with healthcare teams, document patient information, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery, administering medications as required, and reporting any concerns or issues to the anesthesiologist or surgeon.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, identifying any faults or malfunctions and reporting them promptly to the biomedical engineer or maintenance team.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, using computerized systems where applicable.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong background in CVOR technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They should also possess basic computer skills and be proficient in using electronic medical records software.
