Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our travel nursing team for a 13-week assignment in Westwood, New Jersey. This position requires a strong background in interventional radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
- Operate complex equipment, such as angiographic machines and CT scanners.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining instructions and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Current certification as an R.T.(R)(CI) or R.T.(R)(VI).
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality control principles.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
