Summary
We are seeking a Controller to manage day-to-day financial operations and support the growth of our fast-expanding travel organization. This role involves journal entries, accurate record-keeping, and refining systems to ensure smooth financial processes. It’s an excellent opportunity to shape the financial foundation of our company.
In-office / South Bay, Los Angeles
Responsibilities :
Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
Record and analyze business transactions using QuickBooks.
Perform detailed account reconciliations.
Prepare and present financial statements.
Lead the month-end closing process and prepare adjusting entries.
Collaborate with external auditors.
Ensure adherence to GAAP and accounting regulations.
Develop budgets and forecasts to optimize costs.
Qualifications :
CPA certification and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
5 years of relevant accounting experience (Travel Industry experience a plus)
Significant experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis skills.
Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
