What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Coordinator position at Travel Staff?
Job Summary : The Customer Service Coordinator works in the Group Department, customizing group promotional flyers, servicing incoming calls and emails from clients. This role would require booking and handling customer reservations and payments. Strong customer service and computer skills required and travel industry experience preferred. No GDS experience needed. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Required Skills :
- Strong Customer Service skills with a friendly phone presence
- Passion for travel (including domestic & international geography and destination knowledge)
- Strong email communication skills (written & verbal)
- Great attention to detail with great organizational skills (prioritizing tasks, meeting details, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Travel Industry experience (a plus, but not required. We will train.)
- Strong desire to learn, with great initiative to take on new tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree (a plus, but not required.)
