Job Summary : The Sr. Manager, Accounting role is responsible for overseeing all general and staff accounting processes, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with the team, support internal business processes, and coordinate reporting and compliance efforts for the company.
Responsibilities & Tasks :
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance / accounting team
- Review, develop, and propose to President additional procedures and controls
- Create / verify account reconciliations, review statements of work orders, prepare monthly statements and budgets
- Monitor loans and cash flow for all company bank and credit accounts
- Review and maintain fixed asset schedules and compliance reports
- Coordinate and review yearly tax filings and periodic payments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of General Accounting, Finance, and Budgeting
- Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, and standard accounting software)
