Stock Clerk

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STOCK CLERK:

Join Travel Traders, as a Stock Clerk, working in our busy hotel lobby shops inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. You may not know Travel Traders because our name isn't on the door, but Travel Traders is the largest independent operator of hospitality retail in the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS STOCK CLERK:

• Working at the direction of the Store Manager, as Stock Clerk you will stock merchandise on the sales floor according to plan-o-gram and store floor plans.
• Move merchandise from the warehouse/stockrooms to the store for stocking.
• Assist with merchandise resets.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized stock room allowing for accurate inventories and a safe working atmosphere.
• Assist guest whenever on the sales floor by recommending and suggestively selling product.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous experience in stocking merchandise in a retail setting.
• Be able to work various shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and stand and walk for long periods of time, In addition, the ability to push/pull, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great customer service skills
• Basic math and counting skills required
