WORK/LIFE BALANCE
Hours of operation: Sunday 12-5, Monday-Friday 9-6, Saturday 9-5.
Although schedules vary, generally you would work 40-45 hours a week.

PARTS MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL SUMMARY
As the Parts Manager, you are many times the first point of contact for customers that visit Travelcamp. You are a face of Travelcamp. It is important that you express a positive and joyful outlook. You should always wear a smile. Your primary role is to remain stationed at the front counter to greet and welcome customers as they walk in the front door as well as answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Additionally, this position serves as a central cashier to assist and cash out parts customers and sometimes assisting with service customers. Your other Customer is the sales and service departments. This involves sourcing special order and local run parts for Service Techs working on jobs in the shop as well as assisting with providing estimates to sales staff as needed. It is imperative that your station (the front counter and the phones) be covered 100% of the time. If it is necessary for you to leave your station for any reason such as lunch or a break, it is your responsibility to ensure you have coverage during that period.
JOB TASKS
- Cash out customers shopping for their parts
- Coordinating “Local Run Parts”
- Charging parts out to RO’s as acquired by techs and reconcile and charge parts in log books
- Weekly parts re-order for stock
- Receiving store stock into inventory and assisting to stock the shelves.
- Monitor and process PO’s for stock and special-order Customers.
- Perform daily parts & service EOD
- Maintain inventory quality utilizing system management reports and regular cycle counts
- Maintain a well-organized front counter area
- Maintain and update Parts Robbed, LP, and Tech Parts logbooks. Minimize Robbed parts
- Scan documents accordingly to maintain paperless environment
- Generate authorized non-resale purchase orders and route to back office accounting
- Thank customers as they leave the store and offer to register them for the Travelcamp “Be the first to know” email list
EVALUATION
You will be evaluated primarily based on performance standards that measure the following activities:
- Customer handling
- Monitoring parts staff
- Timely sourcing of parts
- Inventory accuracy and quality
- Quality of paperwork
You will also be evaluated on other factors, such as good attendance, positive attitude, and teamwork
