About the Role:
This role involves serving as a key member of the store team, working closely with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment. You will process customer transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and provide assistance with receiving and stocking merchandise.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers, answering questions about products and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized store environment, including the food and beverage area, to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving product deliveries, unloading merchandise, and stocking shelves according to planograms to ensure timely availability of products.
- Teamwork and Training: Participate in training lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Cash Handling and POS Knowledge: Have basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience operating a point-of-sale system.
