Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at TravelCenters of America. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to develop repair plans and communicate with customers about the status of their vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a graduate of an accredited trade school or manufacturer's technical program is preferred.
• Prior experience as a mechanic or in a related field is necessary.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
