- Processing transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register;
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area;
- Assisting with receiving product and stocking merchandise on planograms;
- Supporting training for lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities;
- Prioritizing tasks according to store needs and following safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A dedicated and enthusiastic approach to customer service;
- At least 2 years of cashier experience preferred;
- Computer/POS knowledge required;
- Cash handling skills required;
- Merchandising/stocking experience preferred;
- Good verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
