Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

You will report directly to the VP, Business and Function Architecture, with a dual reporting relationship to the business or function Chief Information Officer(s) and you will collaborate with senior technology, business, and functional leaders to influence and innovate solutions that impact Travelers' business.

What Will You Do?
- Lead Technology Architecture for one or more Travelers business or function segments.
- Ensure alignment between our business and technology partners, and your leadership peers in Enterprise Technology Solutions.
- Establish technical target state and roadmap; ensure multi-year plan incorporates and aligns with the overall technology strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish architecture priorities and set direction to enable business / function imperatives.
- Bridge engineering and architecture teams to drive commonality, standards and best practices.
- Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt.
- Analyze industry trends to leverage technology advances.
- Lead technology proof of concepts to validate new solutions.
- Partner with engineering to align skills with technology direction.
- Communicate architectural direction and its alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Optimize talent strategy to ensure proper mix of resources; attract, develop and retain high-performing talent.
- Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
