Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to ensure all rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care activities as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring that all facilities meet health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop cleaning schedules and inventory supplies.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning and report any maintenance issues as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment usage.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic cooking skills are an advantage for residential cleaning roles that may require meal preparation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
