Senior Amazon Advertising Manager Position Summary
The Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will lead Ubiquity’s marketplace advertising efforts both as a client facing account manager and as our internal industry expert. Their focus will be on Amazon Advertising but the ability to work with other platforms like Walmart Connect and Target Roundel is necessary.
Candidate should be passionate about client service, the field of ecommerce, and the greater retail industry. They must be able to manage multiple clients and meet the high standards of our service offering. The Senior Amazon Advertising Manager impacts our business through their ability to understand our clients’ needs, and profitably drive the growth of their business through paid advertising. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, enthusiastic, a great communicator, and is capable of immediately contributing to our team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with Clients and Customers
· Work directly with a portfolio of clients to develop the strategy, build out the campaign structure, continually optimize, and report on their Amazon Advertising efforts.
· Supply keyword suggestions and SEO strategies to their account management partner.
· Own Amazon Advertising thought leadership for our organization including Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Creator Connections, Amazon Attribution, DSP, and Amazon Posts.
· Show expertise with knowledge of industry trends and best practices and be able to influence decision makers to best provide growth for our partners.
· Participate in new business pitches and onboarding.
· Experience managing budgets and meeting KPIs.
· Build relationships with key personnel at Amazon.
Weekly Reporting and Communication
- Provide thoughtful and regular updates to clients using our various reporting tools that fit within our service level.
- Ability to confidently present on video and in person to stakeholders of all levels.
Probable Candidate Profile
· 3 years of Amazon Advertising and other platform experience in an agency environment.
· Seller Central (3P) and Vendor Central (1P) familiarity.
· Microsoft Office Guru. Sufficient familiarity with web-based tools.
· Comfort working and collaborating in task management/project management software like Asana.
· Bid management platform (i.e. Skai, Intentwise, PacVue) experience preferred.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to direct others to help reach a positive outcome as needed.
· Managing competing priorities effectively
· Desire to learn and grow in the ecommerce industry.
· High integrity and EQ individual.
