Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Irrigation Service Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our service operations, ensuring that all tasks related to Irrigation Service are executed efficiently. This role involves taking inbound calls from irrigation clients, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring that all field technicians are efficiently dispatched to job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, have excellent communication and organization skills, be team-oriented, and eager to learn to things/systems/processes. Knowledge of irrigation systems and understanding of irrigation design is a plus but not required. We provide on-the-job training to set team members up for success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues at all times.
- Respond to customer inquiries/call logs via phone, email, and texting in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately input and update customer information, order details, and other relevant data into the company's system(s)
- Create and maintain daily irrigation technician schedules to ensure timely responses to client needs.
- Communicate effectively with field technicians regarding job assignments, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information.
- Use dispatch software to log and track job progress, technician locations, and customer interactions.
- Use business software to create and submit invoices.
- Provide clients with updates on service times and follow up on completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the irrigation team to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Customer Service: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships, address concerns, and provide solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are a must to effectively engage with customers and collaborate with Traverse Outdoor team members.
- Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple client requests and technician schedules efficiently.
- Technological Proficiency: Ability to learn and use dispatch/scheduling software, along with basic computer skills for tracking schedules, customer data, and service logs.
- Scheduling/Dispatching Experience a Plus: Experience in scheduling and dispatching technicians, preferably in the irrigation or landscaping field. Training will be provided.
- Irrigation Knowledge a Plus: Solid understanding of irrigation systems, components, and installation processes. Training will be provided.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
