Job Summary
The Events & Donor Relationship Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Donor Development team by coordinating and executing fundraising events, managing donor stewardship activities, and providing essential administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about fostering a culture of philanthropy. This is a full-time, onsite position where the specialist will serve as an ambassador of Austin Lighthouse, supporting all areas of donor engagement and fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities
· Complies with and assists other employees understand and comply with TAB's policies and procedures.

Event Planning & Execution:
· Coordinate logistics for fundraising and donor stewardship events, including venue selection, catering, invitations, and RSVP tracking.
· Assist in event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for donors and stakeholders.
· Monitor fundraising expenses against event budgets using Expensify.
Administrative & Donor Database Management:
· Schedule and coordinate meetings with donors, board members, staff, and other key stakeholders.
· Provide follow-up support for meetings and events, ensuring timely communication and action items.
· Maintain donor records and track engagement using Bloomerang.
· Generate reports on donor activity, giving history, and engagement trends.
Communication & Stewardship:
· Draft and send donor correspondence, thank-you letters, stewardship gifts, and follow-up emails.
· Support donor recognition efforts, ensuring a meaningful and consistent donor experience.
· Assist with donor development campaigns and initiatives.
Grant Research & Support:
· Research new grant opportunities and present findings to the Director of Development.
· Assist with long-term grant data collection and stewardship efforts.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
· Experience with donor databases (Bloomerang preferred) and financial tracking tools (Expensify a plus).
· Event planning experience is a plus.
· Candidates who can think strategically, anticipate needs, and bring creative solutions are highly valued for this role.

Minimum Education and Experience
· High School diploma
· *Bachelor's degree preferred or related field preferred
Physical Requirements
