Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administrative support, human resources, and financial management. The Medical Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of the medical office, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee medical billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement
- Maintain electronic health record systems
- Manage payroll and employee time-off
- Ensure compliance with HIPPA and other regulatory standards
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and monitor budgets, provide monthly operational reports
- Provide support for critical care situations as needed
- Manage employee performance metrics
- Data analysis - must be able to run operation reports and track metrics
