The Inside Sales Professional is responsible for building relationships with accounts and internal field sales teams to drive incremental sales and provide enhanced service. The Inside Sales Professional will create and foster a working partnership with the applicable Outside Sales Professionals to collectively achieve pre-book and re-order sales goals and communicate timely trend, product, and marketplace feedback.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily service-related communications via phone and electronically
- Respond promptly to and resolve all customer/account inquiries, complaints, and questions
- Partner with Outside Sales Professionals to coordinate and track sales call appointments
- Set and meet sales goals and KPIs set by the leadership team.
- Partner with Outside Sales Professionals and accounts to perform order management including, but not limited to, order entry, order confirmation, and order adjustments
- Partner with Outside Sales Professionals and accounts to process new account paperwork
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate account list and zone plan
- Drive incremental re-order sales through enhanced communication with accounts and Outside Sales Professionals
- Be able to understand and speak to product and service offerings to current and prospective accounts
- Foster meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and brand loyalty
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process with current and future customers
- Promote company sales programs, including, but not limited the Ambassador Program, Fixture Program and Tournament Sales Program
- Attendance at all sales meetings and seasonal product demonstrations
- Assist in the development of department policies and procedures
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Proficient in MS Office applications, emphasis in Excel
- Proficient in an ERP system, “SAP” preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills; interpersonal, oral, and written
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
