Reports To: Sales Manager
The Sales Associate is the dealership's front-line customer relations and sales representative.
***This is a salary plus commission position***
The position requires achieving and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction while meeting pre-determined sales objectives.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty and genuine concern for customers
· Maintain a neat and organized work area, showroom, and outdoor displays
· Promptly meet and greet sales prospects in a friendly and courteous manner
· Listen to the customer’s needs to properly steer them to the right boat
· Answer calls promptly, courteously and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry
· Set individual sales objectives in conjunction with the annual sales plan
· Give each prospect a quote that is first approved by management
· Maintain a record of all prospect interactions and follow up with customers after the sale to ensure a high CSI rating
· Review the sales performance on a regular basis to ensure that you meet or exceed sales objectives set by management
· Have the ability to safely operate various watercraft in order to perform on water demonstrations/deliveries
· Properly, thoroughly, and legibly, write sales agreements for customers
· Follow the sales process put in place by management
· Properly document all aspects of the sales agreement to include all sales/service incentives
· Maintain communications with the service department re problems/complaints that need to be rectified
· Communicate the delivery date, unit to deliver, and the time, to the service dept in advance

Pay: $26,000.00 per year
