Through investments in modernized production equipment and new technology Travis Pattern and Foundry has positioned ourselves as the select provider for our customers.   Travis Pattern and Foundry is seeking a CNC Setup/Programmer for our Swing Shift. *You would train on days and then move to the swing shift for the regular working shift.    In this role, you will be responsible for performing the following functions:   Programming Haas Mills and Lathes Setup for 3 & 4 Axis Mills and Lathes Lead Swing Shift Production team Communicate with colleagues regarding production runs Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment Load/unload raw materials Machining parts with strong attention to detail and accuracy Dual machine operation Visually inspecting parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges to ensure machined parts are correct to print Follow paperwork and documentation procedures Performa all machine shop operations Other duties/tasks as assigned   Requirements:   2 years minimum experience with programming and setup of Haas Mills and Lathes Experience with and demonstrated understanding/proficiency of G-Code  Ability to clearly read and understand blueprints (features and dimensions) Experience with utilizing tools: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc. Machining degree preferred but not required Overtime may be required – depending on production demands Skills & abilities: Strong attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate and lead a team  Strong problem-solving skills Desire, willingness and ability to develop yourself while also learning from others Share knowledge and experience with others – mentorship Ability to build strong relationships with peers/subordinates Time management Strong mathematical skills Technical writing and comprehension skills Understanding of CAD/CAM technology  Mechanical and technical skills Manual dexterity Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs when required While performing duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms Benefits (eligibility period applies):   Health Dental Vision PTO accrual Paid holidays Employer sponsored Pension   Shifts: SWING: M-F 3:00 pm to 11:30 am with 30-minute unpaid meal period  Wage: $26.36 - $29.27/hr DOE, commensurate with experience  Pre-employment screening: Travis Pattern is a drug-free workplace.
