JOB OVERVIEW
The Coordinator, Tour is responsible for the planning of assigned vehicle events across the country, as well as the onsite execution of local events. This individual is responsible for all facets of the applicable event(s) including promotion, product sales, logistics, setup & breakdown, and customer service as necessary.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, organize, and submit pre / post-event orders
- Plan, set-up / breakdown and execute assigned vehicle events
- Interact with and sell product to event consumers
- Collect event feedback and providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements
- Manage promos, including ordering and monitoring inventory levels
- Manage event sample line including, upkeep of sample line, returning old samples, and ordering new samples
- Maintain up-to-date product line knowledge (i.e., fabrications, fit, style names, etc.)
- Maintain adherence to DOT vehicle and personnel compliance requirements
- Identity and action known vehicle issues, including damaged supplies and missing tools
- Support the execution of various marketing and sales initiates
- Support local and offsite event staffing
- Provide tradeshow support, inclusive of planning and execution
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Client focused, the ability to develop and maintain position and professional relationships
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. to a height of 3-4 feet, repetitively
- Ability to work well independently with flexibility to travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to work collaboratively, and with direct consumers
- Ability to lead, direct and utilize volunteers effectively
- Highly self-motivated with ability to complete day-to-day tasks unsupervised
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have and maintain a current valid driver's license in the state in which you reside
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- Travel: 85%; with travel durations of 6-12 weeks at a time
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Minimum 1 year of marketing, event coordinating, and / or sales experience
- Retail and / or golf industry experience preferred
