Our Social Media & Content Manager is responsible for driving engagement, growing our community, and delivering impactful content across social and in-app channels. What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute our social media and content strategy, ensuring all content is engaging, on-brand, and aligned with user behavior.
- Manage the content calendar across all platforms, including social channels and the Shopkick app.
- Create, film, and edit original content (video, photography, reels, GIFs, carousels, etc.) for organic and sponsored posts, balancing creativity with performance metrics.
- Oversee content tied to client sponsorships, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and optimize strategies in real time; collaborate with analytics to refine insights.
- Manage community engagement and social moderation; ensure timely, professional responses in coordination with customer success.
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions and work closely with designers to maintain brand integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align content with broader marketing initiatives and update the integrated marketing calendar.
- Explore new platforms, tools, and influencer partnerships to expand reach and effectiveness.
- Oversee the content and social budget, including paid incentives and giveaways.
- Manage one social media coordinator, setting clear goals, expectations, and direction.
- Roll up your sleeves to support team objectives – whether it’s community moderation, rapid-turnaround content, audience engagement, out-of-the-box requests, or jumping in after hours when necessary for high-priority needs.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns (1-4 years).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, extract insights, and drive actionable decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute cross-functional campaigns, from strategy to execution.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
- Proficiency in video editing, content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.), and social media management platforms.
- Prior experience in leading social media teams, with a track record of growing engagement and followers.
- Ability to represent the company professionally at industry events and with key partners.
- Knowledge of CPG and rewards platform industry trends is a strong plus.
