TRB and Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Code Compliance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing building plans and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering from an accredited university or college. At least five years of experience in plan reviews, peer review, and/or design experience in building structure is required. Current registration as a civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineer, or architect (the State of California preferred) is also necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing building plans and preparing written comment letters on building design submittals
- Reviewing plans for structural and/or non-structural disciplines
- Preparing and/or updating company plan review policies and standards
- Performing short-term on-site plan review assignments
- Attending clients' and/or project team meetings
