Job Overview:
As a Code Enforcement Inspector with TRB and Associates, Inc., you will be responsible for enforcing municipal regulations and ordinances in a variety of settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responding to complaints and reports from other agencies and departments on alleged violations of agency zoning and related municipal codes and ordinances;
- Conducting field investigations; inspecting properties for violations; issuing and posting warning notices, notices of violation, corrective notices, orders to comply, and related documentation for code violations;
- Maintaining accurate documentation and case files on investigations, inspections, enforcement actions, and other job-related activities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- At least one (1) year experience providing code enforcement services in a municipal or government setting or equivalent function;
- A valid driver's license;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
