We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Plan Review Specialist to join our team at TRB and Associates, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing building plans and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering from an accredited university or college. At least five years of experience in plan reviews, peer review, and/or design experience in building structure is required. Current registration as a civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineer, or architect (the State of California preferred) is also necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing building plans and preparing written comment letters on building design submittals
- Reviewing plans for structural and/or non-structural disciplines
- Preparing and/or updating company plan review policies and standards
- Performing short-term on-site plan review assignments
- Attending clients' and/or project team meetings
