Responsibilities
Perform an entry level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assists other departmental engineers.
Essential Functions Of Position
Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate Degree in Engineering with the appropriate experience at a Designer level. Complete the PDE Qualification-General template. Initiate and maintain the PDE Engineering Qualification template for the appropriate Job Title.

Responsibilities
Perform an entry level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assists other departmental engineers.
Essential Functions Of Position
- Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
- Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrical Engineering
- Communications Systems
- Computer Engineering
- Automation Systems
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
- Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas:
- Substation Design
- Substation Automation
- Power Systems Analysis
- Communications Systems
- Electrical Control Systems
- Protective Relaying
- Transmission Systems
- Develop knowledge of the Company-s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
- Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
- May be required to travel to support work.
- Other duties as required.
