Overview
TRC is currently seeking an Environmental Quality Assurance Chemist to support our Environmental Engineering, Consulting & Remediation (ECR) Practice managed from our Lowell, MA headquarters. This position offers a flexible work arrangement for candidates within the United States.
Responsibilities
A BS degree in Chemistry or related science. 2-5 years of experience with validating data according to EPA National Functional Guidelines. 2-5 years of experience with evaluating environmental field data and laboratory quality control principles and how they relate to environmental sampling and analytical procedures.

Overview
TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Transmission Line Interns for our Summer 2025 intern program out of our Las Cruces, NM Office. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2025 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Responsibilities
- Perform data validation or data usability assessments for a variety of laboratory analytical methods under different state and federal regulatory programs. Experience performing Tier IV Data Validation is preferable.
- Review laboratory/chemistry reports to ensure no errors in calculations or findings, reviewing for technical accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain records and documentation of all laboratory analysis and tests.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare reports.
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, such as quality assurance project plans (QAPPs), sampling and analysis plans, and Uniform Federal Policy (UFP) QAPPs.
- Assist in preparation and perform quality control reviews of data tables and figures in support of project reporting.
- Support field staff and project managers in the coordination with analytical laboratories.
- Work in a team setting and complete assigned responsibilities within set schedules and budgets.

- Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc.
- Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation
- Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
- May work on field assignments as needed
- Will be supported by leaders, mentors and teammates
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, detail orientated person
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow
- Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCad, MathCad, ESRI, HydroCad, WaterCad, ARCView GIS, etc.) is preferred but not required
