What are the responsibilities and job description for the FINANCIAL ANALYST position at TRC Financial?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and model financial data, then relating it to client reports. Provide product, illustration and support in the initial design and re-evaluation of life insurance solutions for individual and corporate clients and prospects. The responsibilities include but not limited to :
Responsibilities
- Perform due diligence on carrier and product selection.
- Run projected life insurance illustrations based on case design requirements
- Cash flow modeling to evaluate funding options - discounted cash flow and IRR
- Excellent math mind and understanding of financial concepts
- Generate illustrations for proposed plan, including mortality-adjusted studies.
- Illustrate and analyze alternative funding methods to support plans objective.
- Compare and contrast illustrations for competitiveness and ability to meet long-term objectives.
- Generate illustrations for existing plans and review to determine funding adequacy.
- Understanding and ability to work within Salesforce for automation of analysis and workflows
- Design life insurance, accounting, and benefit illustrations.
- Develop graphics and assist with creating proposals (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Maintain library for products and sample presentations.
- Maintain industry files and carrier partner materials.
- Provide computer and software support for analysis.
- Maintain workflow management report for cases in progress - Salesforce experience is helpful.
- Coordinate with Underwriting and Case Administration on the proposed plan of insurance, purpose, and ongoing administration.
- Participate as a team member in special projects.
- Participate in industry meetings for the purpose of continuing education and / or obtaining industry designations.
