Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Receiving and Shipping product in an efficient manner.
- Coordinate work orders with forklift operators to move materials safely within the yard.
- Utilize NORM meters for inventory management and tracking shipments.
- Assist in maintaining the organization of stock within the yard to optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse and/or yard setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate computer equipment in office setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to walk in and around yard to check shipments.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
